Other BIGO Prizes & Contests
Family Travel Forum (FTF), the web's leading community for family travelers, hosts a variety of scholarships and other contests that encourage everyone to share their travel experiences. For information about new opportunities to increase your spending money for school or travel, check back here often for news about seasonal scholarships and contests from our sponsors.
The FTF-HI New York Hostel Contest
FTF is hosting a new contest for hostellers in association with sponsor Hostelling International New York (HI-NY) to celebrate the 75th anniversary of hostelling in America. For anyone who has stayed in a youth hostel, made or lost friends there, explored the world on a shoestring, traveled with a student tour or otherwise enjoyed a hostelling experience -- and want to share it with others -- this contest is for you. Take this opportunity to write about your journeys, both good and bad, and earn great prizes too! If film is more your style, then film your travels and submit a video. Whether you stayed at a hostel 30 years ago, or you’re in the midst of your hostel visit right now, we want to know about it.
FTF-HI New York Hostel Prizes
- 2 Free Nights at the famous HI New York Youth Hostel, valid for one year
- 2 Tickets to Ripley’s Believe It Or Not! Museums or Ripley Aquariums anywhere in the world
FTF staff members will be selecting 2 winners each month. All winners will receive notification via e-mail, including instructions on how to collect their prize. We will also highlight your hostel story on travelBIGO, so other viewers can share your experience and learn more about hostelling.
