BIGO is on Facebook!

All of your friends have a Facebook page (I mean come on, who doesn’t these days??).  And you are all such good friends of travelBIGO (and why wouldn’t you be… he sponsors an annual scholarship and even gives away monthly Punzabo Awards worth $100 to his top rated story).  So, now it is time to celebrate your friendship with BIGO and add him as a friend on Facebook and join his fan page as well.

Being friends with BIGO on Facebook will have its benefits.  You will be the first to know about the latest scholarship updates and information.  Plus, you will hear all about BIGO’s media appearances (He was recently mentioned in St. Louis Today!)

Also, if you didn’t notice, BIGO is always trying to keep up with the times and has been adding tools to the story pages.  Now, writers like you have the opportunity to use the "Share" option located at the top of your story.  Post your BIGO travel tales on Digg, Facebook, Myspace, Linkedin or any other popular website that you use frequently.  And the best part is that spreading your work around the web and sharing it with more friends and families will help you get more votes and a better rating... making your story closer to being the next Punzabo winner! (Cha-Ching!)

Plus, the story page now has a PDF feature which is great for soon-to-be college applicants.  PDF your story, print it out or e-mail it to the universities of your choice and that will certainly be a way to make your application stand out above the rest!  And for the aspiring writers out there, PDFs will make a great addition to your clip portfolio and resume. 

Finally, at the bottom of each story’s last page is a comments section.  Log in to leave your thoughts on other people’s stories and you will surely get some on yours in return.  There is no better way to improve your writing than through some reader feedback.
